KADERMIN has a "medical device" status. It is a powder formulation that creates a protective barrier, an adjuvant for the treatment of wounds, abrasions, minor burns and skin lesions especially in the presence of exuding wounds. The Medical device forms a protective film with a barrier effect creating thus a protected environment from microbial aggressions and fostering the restoration of the normal physiological conditions useful to spontaneous skin regeneration. The barrier function is performed by the association of kaolin with hyaluronic acid as they both have a specific action: kaolin acts as an absorbent material in the case of exudating wounds, while hyaluronic acid's hydrating action acts as a film-forming polymer and fosters tissue hydration. The SCX-Powder complex is made from silicon dioxide functionalized with Silver Ions and Chlorhexidine; it is incorporated into the barrier created by the kaolin and hyaluronic acid. Thanks to its antimicrobial properties, it means that the barrier formed by the medical device is resistant to the microbial agents' attack, thus enhancing the effect of the protective barrier on the lesion and making it effective against external microbial aggression.

Before using, clean the skin and dry it carefully.
Must be shaken well before use.
Apply a thin layer of powder only in the affected area, dispensing from a distance of 10 cm.
Do not massage: the powder must form a protective continuous layer.
Once a day application.

No case of overdose has been reported nor interactions with other drugs and medical substances.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components.
Do not use in children less than 3 years old.

For external use only, do not ingest.
Avoid any eye contact, in case of any contact immediately rinse with water.
Do not use if package is opened or damaged.
Do not sterilize.
Close the can carefully after use.
Do not use after expiry date.
Discontinue treatment in the presence of abnormal skin reactions.
Medical advice is not required for application.
Package under pressure. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures lower than 5°C or exceeding 50°C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. To be used only for the indicated purposes. Do not direct towards eyes. Keep away from open flames, lights, sparks, heat or other electrical equipment in motion. Do not smoke when using and do not inhale fumes. To be used only in open spaces. In case of ingestion or spray into eyes, immediately seek qualified medical advice, doctor or an anti-poison centre and provide them with the product information stated on the label.
