Silybum marianum dried extract.
Description
Each 425 mg film coated tablet contains: Active ingredient: Dry extract from Silybum marianum fruits (35-45:1) 200 mg corresponding to 52.5 % Silymarin (calc. as Silibinin, HPLC).
Extraction solvent: Acetone.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate (BSE free bovine source), colloidal anhydrous silica, copovidone, magnesium stearate, crospovidone, povidone, macrogol, hypromellose, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), ferric oxide (E 172), polyacrylate.
Indications/Uses
This is a traditional medicine.
Traditionally used as a liver tonic.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Dosage: Unless otherwise prescribed: Adults and children over 12 years take 1 film coated tablet 3 times a day.
Please consult a pharmacist/doctor before taking this product.
Method and/or route(s) of administration: Cefasily film coated tablets can easily be swallowed with some liquid like water after the meals.
Duration of treatment: At longer persistent complaints, patient should consult a doctor.
If patient forgets to take Cefasily film coated tablets: Continue as usual, but do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten individual dose.
Effects when treatment with Cefasily film coated tablets is stopped: None.
Contraindications
This medicine has not been researched for children's use. Please refrain from giving the tablets to children under 12 years of age. There has not been sufficient research for the application of this medicine during pregnancy and lactation. Therefore it should not be used during this period.
