Adult Massage approx 1 cm onto sore area, may be repeated after 3 hr. Denture sore Massage approx 1 cm onto sore area & leave at least 30 min before reinserting the dentures. Childn from 4 mth Massage approx ½ cm onto sore area using clean finger, may be repeated after 3 hr. Max: No >6 doses in 24 hr.
History of salicylate sensitivity. Active peptic ulcer or hemophilia. Not to be used during 3rd trimester of pregnancy & lactation. Not to be used in infant <4 mth.
Not to be applied directly to dentures. Salicylates may precipitate bronchospasm & induce attacks of asthma in susceptible subjects. 1st & 2nd trimester of pregnancy. Aspirin-containing prep should not be given in childn <16 yr especially during treatment to avoid any risk of excessive salicylate levels & Reye's syndrome.
Drug Interactions
Enhanced effect of anticoagulants. Inhibited action of uricosurics.
