Antacid-induced increases in GI pH may affect the rate and/or extent of absorption of concomitantly administered oral drugs by changing GI transit time or binding or chelating the drugs. Concomitantly administered with tetracyclines, digoxin, indomethacin, or iron salts, the absorption of these drugs may be decreased.
Therefore doses of these drugs should be spaced 1-2 hours from doses of BELCID.
