View Azalia overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Active venous thromboembolic disorder; known or suspected sex steroid-sensitive malignancies; undiagnosed vag bleeding. Presence or history of severe hepatic disease. Known or suspected pregnancy.
Discontinue use if thombosis & sustained HTN develops; in case of long-term immobilisation due to surgery or illness. Not for protection against HIV & other STDs. Breast & liver cancer; history of thromboembolic disorders; jaundice &/or pruritus related to cholestasis; gallstone formation; porphyria; SLE; haemolytic uraemic syndrome; Sydenham's chorea; herpes gestationis; otosclerosis-related hearing loss; hereditary angioedema. History of chloasma gravidarum; avoid exposure to sun or UV radiation. Diabetic patients especially during 1st mth of therapy. Not to be taken by patients w/ galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Not to be used during pregnancy. Adolescents <18 yr. Growth & development of breastfed infants.
