Relief of constipation & helps in stool softening. Hepatic encephalopathy.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Constipation Adult Initially 15-45 mL. Maintenance: 15-30 mL. Childn 7-14 yr Initially 15 mL. Maintenance: 10-15 mL, 1-6 yr Initially 5-10 mL. Maintenance: 5-10 mL. Infant <1 yr Initially 5 mL. Maintenance: 5 mL. Hepatic encephalopathy Adult 30-45 mL tds-qds, subsequently adjusted for production of 2-3 soft stools daily.

Overdosage

Contraindications
Intestinal obstruction. Galactosaemia.
