Description
Atopshield contains aqua, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, cetaryl alcohol, alcohol, glycerin cyclopentasiloxane, glyceril stearate, polyethylene glycol-100 stearate, Plukennetia volubilis extract, vinyl pyrrolidone/vinyl acetate copolymer, sodium hyaluronate, magnesium sulfate, tocopheryl acetate, sodium benzoate, chlorphenesin, phenoxyethanol, polyacrylamide, C13-14 isoparaffin, laureth-7.
Action
Atopshield has a barrier action which forms a shield between the skin and the irritating substances, protecting the epidermis and keeping it physiologically hydrated.
It acts by forming a real protective shield on the skin: this action restores the skin's natural barrier function which means rapid relief from inflammation and itching.
The barrier action of the skin is one of the most important functions that is often compromised in numerous irritant or allergic skin pathologies.
Indications/Uses
Atopic dermatitis an all forms of skin allergies eg, contact dermatitis and eczematous states.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply every 6 hrs (or as required) to the affected area.
Special Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes. May cause discomfort on 1st application to irritated skin.
