Discontinue use if serious reactions or hypersensitivity occurs. SJS, TEN, fulminant hepatic necrosis, agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia & other blood dyscrasias. Acute angle-closure glaucoma. Concomitant use w/ oral carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. May cause punctate keratopathy &/or toxic ulcerative keratopathy due to benzalkonium Cl. Close monitoring is required in frequent or prolonged use in dry eye patients or in conditions where cornea is compromised. Avoid allowing the tip of the dispensing container to contact the eye or surrounding structures or other surfaces. Patient under ocular surgery or developed intercurrent ocular condition. Administer at least 10 min apart if >1 topical ophth drug is used. Contact lenses should be removed during instillation & reinserted 15 min after instillation. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min). Hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
