Indications/Uses
Unconsciousness due to head injury, brain surgery or cerebral infarction. Apoplectic hemiplegia.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Unconsciousness due to head injury or brain surgery 100-500 mg 1-2 times daily by IV drip or inj. Unconsciousness due to cerebral infarction 1,000 mg once daily by IV inj. Apoplectic hemiplegia 1,000 mg once daily by oral or IV inj.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Acute, severe & progressive disturbance of consciousness. Slow IV inj is recommended. Avoid high doses in intracranial bleeding.
Adverse Reactions
Hypotension, rash, insomnia, drowsiness.
