Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not recommended for patient w/ HIV. Patients w/ renal disorders (CrCl <50 mL/min) & on hemodialysis. Monitor hepatic function w/ clinical & lab follow up for several mth in patients who discontinue therapy. Not to be used during pregnancy & lactation. Should not be used in childn <16 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, fatigue, dizziness & nausea.
Drug Interactions
Immunosuppresants eg, cyclosporine & tacrolimus.
