Mono- or combination therapy of HTN; 1st-line treatment of myocardial ischaemia due to stable angina &/or Prinzmetal's or variant angina.
Dosage/Direction for Use
HTN & angina Initially 5 mg once daily. Wait 7-14 days to titrate according to BP goals. Max: 10 mg once daily. Small, fragile, elderly, hepatic insufficiency patient 2.5 mg once daily. Chronic stable or vasospastic angina 5-10 mg once daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to dihydropyridines.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ severe obstructive CAD or aortic stenosis. Hepatic impairment. No sufficient data for pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
