Cetirizine diHCl
Indications/Uses
Perennial rhinitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis & chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Dosage/Direction for Use
FC caplet Adult & childn >12  yr 1 caplet once daily. Kidney dysfunction Doses may be reduced to ½ caplet daily. Oral drops Adult & childn >12 yr 1 mL once daily. Childn 6-12 yr 1 mL once daily or in 2 divided doses (0.5 mL in the morning, 0.5 mL in the evening), 2-6 yr 0.5 mL once daily or in 2 divided doses (0.25 mL in the morning, 0.25 mL in the evening).
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
History of hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
May impair the ability to drive the vehicle or operate the machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, drowsiness, dizziness, agitation, dry mouth, GI disturbances, skin reactions, angioedema.
Drug Interactions
Avoid excessive alcohol consumption.
