Indications/Uses
Symptomatic relief associated w/ chronic idiopathic urticaria in adult & childn ≥12 yr.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn ≥12 yr 1 tab once daily.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Check individual response before driving or performing complicated tasks. Renal or hepatic impairment. Not to be used during pregnancy. Not recommended during breastfeeding. Childn <12 yr. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, drowsiness, nausea, dizziness & fatigue.
Drug Interactions
Increased plasma level when co-administered w/ erythromycin or ketoconazole. Concomitant administration of Al- & Mg hydroxide-containing antacids w/in 15 min causes a reduction in bioavailability of fexofenadine HCl.
