Hedera helix folium (ivy leaf) extr.
Each 5 mL contains: Hedera helix folium (ivy leaf) extract 35 mg.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Potassium sorbate, Green apple essence, Sorbitol.
Helps to relieve wet cough.
Unless otherwise prescribed:
Small children (1-5 years): 2.5 mL, 3 times daily.
Children & adolescents (6-17 years): 5 mL, 3 times daily.
Adults: 5-7.5 mL, 3 times daily.
Pregnant and breast-feeding women also children below 1 year should consult a doctor before taking SANBE-IVY.
Duration of use: Duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the clinical picture. However, treatment should last for at least one week even in minor inflammations of the respiratory tract.
Treatment with SANBE-IVY should be maintained for 2-3 days after symptoms have subsided, in order to ensure lasting success of therapy.
Keep this and all medicines out of children's reach.
In the event of persistent complaints or the appearance of shortness of breath, fever as well as purulent or bloody expectoration, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
SANBE-IVY contains a plant extract as the active ingredient and its colour can therefore occasionally vary, like all preparations made from natural ingredients.
This however, does not affect the therapeutic effectiveness of the preparation.
In very rare case, SANBE-IVY can cause allergic reaction such as dyspnea, Quinke's oedema, exanthema and urticaria.
In uncommon case, SANBE-IVY can cause gastrointestinal complaints like nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
In rare cases, SANBE-IVY may have a laxative effect due to the content of sorbitol in the product.
No side effect has been known from combination of SANBE-IVY with other medicines.
Store below 30°C and in a dry place, away from light.
