Indications/Uses
TB in combination w/ other anti-TB drugs.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult
20-35 mg/kg. Max: 3 g.
Childn
20 mg/kg. To be taken daily in 3-4 divided doses.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Liver damage, hyperuricaemia & gouty arthritis. Pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
History of gout or DM. Impaired renal function.
Adverse Reactions
Yellowing of the skin or eyes; arthralgia, anorexia, nausea & vomiting, malaise, fever, dysuria.
