Hydroquinone 4%, tretinoin 0.05%, fluocinolone acetonide 0.01%
Indications/Uses
Short-term treatment of moderate to severe facial melasma.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply thinly & evenly once daily, 30 min before bedtime. Treatment result will be shown w/in 4 wk.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, allergy, intolerance.
Special Precautions
Discontinue treatment if hypersensitivity reactions or irritation occurs. Not indicated for maintenance treatment of melasma. Recurrence of melasma may occur after Refaquin discontinuation; another treatment may be continued as a replacement of Refaquin cream. Avoid sunlight or UV light exposure, apply sunscreen w/ SPF 30 or higher, wear umbrella, hat, & do not consume OC. Avoid application on eyes, nose, or mouth corners. Pregnancy, lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Local irritation eg, dry skin, skin redness & peeling, burning sensation.
Drug Interactions
Abrasive soap/cleanser, cosmetics w/ drying properties, contains high amounts of alcohol & astringent. Cosmetics causing photosensitization.
