Rebamipide
Indications/Uses
Gastric ulcer, gastritis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Gastric ulcer Adult 100 mg orally 3 times daily in combination w/ proton-pump inhibitor. Gastritis 100 mg orally 3 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
History of hypersensitivity to rebamipide.
Special Precautions
Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, liver dysfunction, jaundice, increased SGOT, SGPT, γ-GT, alkaline phosphatase. Rash, itching, eczema-like eruption, urticaria, numbness, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, full sensation in abdomen, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, epigastric pain, belching, taste disturbances, leucopenia, granulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, menstrual disturbances, increased BUN, swelling, breast tenderness & swelling, gynecomastia, tremor, fever, facial flushing, numbness of the tongue, cough, resp distress, alopecia.
