Rebamipide

Indications/Uses

Gastric ulcers w/ a combination of offensive factor inhibitors (PPIs, anticholinergics, H₂-antagonists); gastritis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult Gastric ulcer 1 tab 3 times daily in the morning, afternoon & before bedtime in combination w/ offensive factor inhibitors. Gastritis 1 tab 3 times daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Special Precautions

Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.

Adverse Reactions

Leukopenia & thrombocytopenia. Liver dysfunction & jaundice; increased AST, ALT & γ-glutamic pyruvic transaminase & alkaline phosphatase levels.
