Ibuprofen 200 mg, paracetamol 350 mg
Indications/Uses
Relieve pain in toothache, headache, muscle ache, menstrual pain (primary dysmenorrhea) & reduce fever.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 1 caplet 3-4 times daily.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take during or after meals.
Contraindications
History of hypersensitivity to paracetamol, ibuprofen, or other NSAIDs. Severe & active peptic ulcers. Patients w/ symptoms of asthma, rhinitis (cold), or urticaria after receiving aspirin or other NSAIDs. 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ peptic ulcer, heart failure, HTN, blood clotting disorder, asthma, & SLE. Not to be taken concomitantly w/ aspirin or other medicines that contain paracetamol or ibuprofen, as well as anticoagulant drugs (anti-blood clotting) group warfarin. Experienced any unwanted effects while using Progesic or if after 5 days the pain has not been relieved. Kidney function impairment. Not recommended for pregnant & lactating women.
Adverse Reactions
Liver damage (in prolonged use & large doses).
Drug Interactions
Increased risk of liver function damage w/ alcohol.
