May be taken with or without food: May be consumed directly or mixed w/ milk, baby food or water.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ central venous catheters & post-surgical patients, especially after colon & oral surgery including dental extraction; pancreatic dysfunction, severe bloody acute diarrhea especially infants & elderly, D-lactic acidosis in infants, severely immunocompromised & immunosuppressed patients; post-surgical patients. Childn <3 yr w/ short bowel syndrome.
