Paracetamol (micronized)
Indications/Uses
Relief of fever due to flu & after immunization, pain eg, headache & toothache.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Syr Childn 2-5 yr 1-2 tsp. Drops Childn 1-2 mth 0.6-1.2 mL, <1 mth 0.6 mL. Forte syr Childn >12 yr 2-4 tsp, 6-12 yr 1-2 tsp, 2-5 mth 1-2 tsp. To be taken 3-4 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hepatic or renal failure.
Adverse Reactions
Hematological, skin & other allergic reactions.
Drug Interactions
Alcohol, oral anticoagulants, aspirin, phenobarb.
