Reduction of atherothrombotic event in patients suffering from MI, ischemic stroke or established peripheral arterial disease; unstable angina.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 75 mg once daily. Unstable angina 300 mg, then reduced to 75 mg once daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Active pathological bleeding eg, peptic ulcer, intracranial hemorrhage, severe liver impairment. Lactation.
Special Precautions
Patient who may be at risk of increased bleeding from trauma, surgery or other pathological conditions. Moderate hepatic disease who may have bleeding diatheses. Renal impairment. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, dizziness, paresthesia, GI & hematological disorders, rash, pruritus.
