Indications/Uses

Dosage/Direction for Use
RA, OA, ankylosing spondylitis 10-20 mg once daily. Acute musculoskeletal disorders Initially 40 mg daily in single or divided doses for the 1st 2 days. 20 mg daily for the next 7-14 days. Acute gout Initially 40 mg as a single dose then 40 mg daily in single or divided doses on the next 4-6 days. Post-op & post-traumatic pain Initially 20 mg daily as a single dose. Dysmenorrhoea 40 mg daily for the 1st 2 days, then 20 mg for the next 1-3 days if required.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Aspirin sensitivity; history of GI hemorrhage or ulcers.
Special Precautions
Impaired renal function; CV disorders. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances & bleeding, peptic ulceration; headache, dizziness, blurred vision, tinnitus, skin rashes, pruritus & edema.
Drug Interactions
Aspirin, lithium, warfarin.
