Moderate to severe reflux esophagitis, pathological hypersecretory conditions related to Zollinger-Ellison syndrome or other malignancy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
GERD associated w/ history of erosive esophagitisAdult 40 mg by IV infusion once daily for 7-10 days. Zollinger-Ellison syndromeAdult 80 mg 12 hrly.
Special Precautions
Not for mild GI disturbances or nervous dyspepsia. Renal impairment; malignant gastric ulcer or esophageal malignancy. Reduce dose in severe hepatic impairment; increased liver enzyme (discontinue). Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.
