Indications/Uses
Lowering IOP in patients w/ chronic open-angle glaucoma & ocular HTN.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 drop twice daily.
Contraindications
Sinus bradycardia, ≥1st degree AV block, cardiogenic shock, overt cardiac failure.
Special Precautions
Diabetes, thyrotoxicosis, patients w/ excessive restriction of pulmonary function. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Transient ocular discomfort. Rarely, bradycardia, heart block, CHF, resp failure, insomnia, dizziness, headache.
Drug Interactions
Catecholamine-depleting drugs, adrenergic psychotropic drugs.
