Post-op nausea & vomiting Initially 8 mg orally 1 hr before anesth, followed by two 8-mg oral doses 8 hrly.
Prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea & vomiting Adult Highly emetogenic chemotherapy: Initially 8 mg by slow IV infusion or 15-min infusion immediately before chemotherapy, then continuous IV infusion of 1 mg/hr for up to 24 hr or 2 inj of 8 mg by slow IV inj or 15-min infusion 4 hr apart, or followed by 8 mg orally twice daily for up to 5 days.
Radiotherapy-induced nausea & vomiting 8 mg orally 3 times daily, 1st dose should be taken 1-2 hr before radiotherapy.
Childn 5 mg/mL IV 15 min before chemotherapy, then 4 mg orally 12 hrly for up to 5 days.
Impaired liver function Total daily dose should not be >8 mg.
