HTN 10 mg once daily. Maintenance: 20-40 mg single daily dose. Max: 80 mg daily. CHF Initially 5 mg single daily dose which may be added digitalis &/or diuretics. Effective dosage range: 5-20 mg daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hereditary or idiopathic angioedema, history of angioedema relating to previous ACE inhibitor therapy.
Special Precautions
Patients who are being currently treated w/ diuretics; w/ salt or water depletion; renal insufficiency. Major surgery or anaesth. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
