Contents
Per mL NaCl 4.4 mg, KCl 0.8 mg
Indications/Uses
Lubricate & soothe dry eyes due to lack of tear secretions or irritation due to environmental conditions, discomfort using hard contact lens, impaired vision due to excess eye mucus.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1-2 drops in each eye, 3-4 times daily.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
For external use only. Avoid direct contact between the end of the container w/ the eyes to prevent contamination. Discontinue use & consult a doctor if the eye hurts, changes in vision, irritation or redness continue, or if the condition worsens or does not change for >72 hr. Not recommended for use along w/ soft contact lenses. Not to be used if the soln changes color or is cloudy. Long-term & excessive use may cause eye membrane damage due to benzalkonium Cl. Not to be used regularly & for the long term; discontinue if the symptoms have disappeared. Contact lenses should not be used during treatment. Contact lenses can be used at least 10-15 min after administration. Use in childn <6 yr must be under supervision.
