Dysfunctional bleeding 1 tab 3 times daily for 10 days. Prophylaxis: 1 tab 2-3 times daily on day 16-25 of the cycle. Primary & secondary amenorrhea 1 tab 1-2 times daily for 10 days, ensure no pituitary tumor prior to initiating therapy. Premenstrual syndrome, cyclic mastopathy 1 tab 1-3 times daily during luteal phase. Timing of menstruation 1 tab 3 times daily for ≤10-14 days, start from 3 days prior to menstrual expectations. Endometriosis 1 tab twice daily on day 1-5 of cycle, may increase to 2 tab twice daily if bleeding/spotting occurs. If the bleeding stops, can be given again according to the initial dose. Treatment duration: At least 4-6 mth.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Current or history of venous/artery thrombosis; prodrome thrombosis (eg, transient ischemic attack, angina pectoris); migraine w/ focal neurological symptoms; DM w/ vascular involvement; sex hormone-related cancers. Severe hepatic impairment including malignancy. Pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ circulatory disorder, tumor, diabetes. Discontinue therapy if hearing or vision problems occur; thromboembolic or signs of depression occur. Pregnancy & lactation.
