Each 1.5/10 mg MR tab contains 1.5 mg indapamide and 10 mg amlodipine.
As substitution therapy for the treatment of essential hypertension in patients already controlled with indapamide and amlodipine given concurrently at the same dose level.
1 tab/day, preferably to be taken in the morning.
Hypersensitivity to the active substances, severe renal failure, hepatic encephalopathy, hypokalaemia, lactation, severe hypotension, shock, obstruction of the outflow tract of the left ventricle (e.g. high grade aortic stenosis), haemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction.
Hypertensive crisis, water and electrolyte balance, blood glucose, cardiac failure, renal function, uric acid, hepatic function, older people, athletes, excipients.
Natexam is contraindicated in lactating women.
Somnolence, dizziness, headache, palpitations, flushing, abdominal pain, nausea, ankle swelling, oedema and fatigue.
Lithium, Torsades de pointes-inducing medicines, NSAIDs, ACE inhibitors, other compounds causing hypokalemia, digitalis prep, baclofen, allopurinol, K-sparing diuretics, metformin, iodinated contrast media, imipramine-like antidepressants, Ca, ciclosporin, tacrolimus, corticosteroid, tetracosactide.
