Contents
Phenylpropanolamine HCl 15 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg
Indications/Uses
Nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, sneezing & post-nasal drip, common colds, allergic & vasomotor rhinitis & sinusitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tab 3-4 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hyperthyroidism, HTN, coronary disease, pheochromocytoma, closed-angle glaucoma; MAOIs; lower resp tract disease. Newborn or premature infants. Lactation.
Special Precautions
Glaucoma; may impair ability to drive or operate machinery.
Adverse Reactions
GI disorders, difficulty in micturition, muscular weakness, tremor, hypotension, blurred vision, tinnitus, dry mouth, tightness of the chest; sweating, thirst, anorexia.
Drug Interactions
Alcohol potentiates drowsiness due to chlorpheniramine maleate.
