Nystatin

Indications/Uses

Candidiasis in the oral cavity.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn 1-6 mL (100,000-600,000 units). Infant 1 or 2 mL (100,000 or 200,000 units). To be taken 4 times daily.

Overdosage

Administration

May be taken with or without food: Swish & hold in mouth for as long as possible before swallowing.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Should not be used for treatment of systemic mycoses. Discontinue treatment if irritation or sensitization develops. Pregnancy & lactation.
