Mg hydroxide 250 mg, Al hydroxide dried gel 250 mg, simethicone 50 mg
Indications/Uses
Symptomatic relief of gastric hypersecretion & duodenal ulcer: nausea, stomachache, epigastric pain, flatulence, bloating.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr 1-2 tab 3-4 times daily. Childn 6-12 yr 1 tab 3-4 times daily.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr after meals & at bedtime.
Special Precautions
Not recommended for chronic use for 2 wk. Patients w/ low P diet. Prolonged use. Severe renal dysfunction. Childn <6 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting.
Drug Interactions
Reduced absorption w/ cimetidine or tetracycline.
