Lansoprazole
Indications/Uses
Duodenal & benign gastric ulcers, reflux esophagitis, NSAID gastropathy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 30 mg once daily. Duration of treatment: Duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis 4 wk Benign gastric ulcer & NSAID gastropathy 8 wk.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach.
Special Precautions
Exclude gastric malignancy before treatment.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, constipation, flatulence, dizziness, fatigue, rash, urticaria, pruritus.
Drug Interactions
Phenytoin, theophylline, warfarin, sucralfate, other antacids.
