Duodenal ulcer 30 mg daily for 4 wk. Gastric ulcer 30 mg daily for 8 wk. Erosive oesophagitis 30 mg daily for 8 wk, followed by another 4 wk if necessary. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome 60 mg daily, may be increased to 90-120 mg daily in divided doses.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach.
Special Precautions
Exclude gastric malignancy before treatment. Pregnancy & lactation.
A02BC03 - lansoprazole ; Belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitors. Used in the treatment of peptic ulcer and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
