Per unit dose vial (UDV) Ipratropium Br 0.5 mg, salbutamol sulphate 2.5 mg

Management of reversible bronchospasm associated w/ obstructive pulmonary diseases & acute asthma attack in patients who require more than a single bronchodilator.

Acute attack 1 UDV, may be increased to 2 UDV in severe cases. Maintenance: 1 UDV 3-4 times daily.

Hypersensitivity. Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy or tachyarrhythmia.

Hypersensitivity. Discontinue immediately if paradoxical bronchospasm occurs. Avoid contact w/ the eyes. Patients predisposed to glaucoma, insufficiently controlled DM, recent MI, severe organic heart or vascular disorders, hyperthyroidism, phaeochromocytoma, risk of narrow-angle glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy or bladder-neck obstruction. Patients w/ underlying severe heart disease eg, ischaemic heart disease, arrhythmia or severe heart failure. Monitor serum K levels. Cystic fibrosis. Acute, rapidly worsening dyspnoea. Avoid prolonged use. Hepatic or renal insufficiency. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation.

Hypersensitivity. Headache, throat irritation, cough, dry mouth, GI motility disorders (eg, constipation, diarrhea & vomiting), nausea & dizziness. Anxiety. Arrhythmia & MI. Tachycardia. HTN. Hypotension.

Xanthin derivates, gluco-corticosteroid & diuretic. Digoxin. β-blocker. TCAs. Additive effects in the impairment of cognitive & gross motor function w/ oxycodone. May potentiate the effects of ethanol & lorazepam. Halogen hydrocarbon groups.

Antiasthmatic & COPD Preparations

R03AL02 - salbutamol and ipratropium bromide ; Belongs to the class of combination of adrenergics with anticholinergics, that may also include a corticosteroid. Used in the treatment of obstructive airway diseases.
