Contents
Per tab Triprolidine HCl 2.5 mg, pseudoephedrine HCl 60 mg. Per 5 mL syr Triprolidine HCl 1.25 mg, pseudoephedrine HCl 30 mg
Indications/Uses
Symptoms associated w/ common cold, sinusitis & allergic conditions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab Adult 1 tab 3 times daily. Syr Adult & childn >12 yr 2 tsp. Childn 6-12 yr 1 tsp, 2-5 yr ½ tsp. To be taken 3 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
MAOIs, severe HTN.
Special Precautions
Diabetes, HTN, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, elevated IOP, prostatic enlargement. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, sleep disturbances, skin rashes, dryness of nose, mouth & throat. Occasionally, urinary retention.
Drug Interactions
Avoid use w/in 2 wk of MAOI.
