Hedera helix extract 10% (ivy leaf dry extract).
100 mL solution contains 0.7 gram Hedera helix extract 10 % (dry extract ivy leaf) ratio about 4-8 : 1.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Potassium sorbate, Sorbitol, Sucralose, Honey flavor.
Helps to relieve cough with phlegm.
Children (2-5 years): 2.5 mL, 1-2 times daily.
Children (6-11 years): 5 mL, 1-2 times daily.
Adolescents, adults & elderly: 5 mL, 3 times daily.
Fertility, pregnancy and lactation: safety during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. In the absence of sufficient data, the use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
Duration of Use: If symptoms persist more than one week during the use of the medicinal product, a doctor or a pharmacist should be consulted.
Hypersensitivity to the active substance.
Children under 2 years of age because of the risk of aggravation of respiratory symptoms.
Persistent or recurrent cough in children between 2-4 years of age requires medical diagnosis before treatment.
When dyspnoea, fever or purulent sputum occurs, a doctor or a pharmacist should be consulted.
Concomitant use with opiate antitussives such as codeine or dextromethorphan is not recommended without medical supervision.
Caution is recommended in patients with gastritis or gastric ulcer.
Gastrointestinal reactions (nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea) have been reported. The frequency is not known.
Allergic reactions (urticaria, skin rash, dyspnoea) have been reported. The frequency is not known.
In rare cases, ivy extract syrup may have a laxative effect (rare case) due to the sorbitol content in the product.
If other adverse reactions not mentioned above occurred, a doctor or a pharmacist should be consulted.
Store below 30°C, in a dry place and protect from light.
