Per tab Paracetamol 500 mg, phenylpropanolamine HCl 12.5 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 15 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg. Per 5 mL syr Paracetamol 250 mg, phenylpropanolamine HCl 6 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 1 mg

Indications/Uses

Symptomatic relief of fever, headache & nasal congestion associated w/ flu, common cold & allergic rhinitis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn >12 yr 1 tab or 2 tsp, 6-12 yr ½ tab or 2 tsp, 2-6 yr 1-2 tsp, ½-2 yr ½-1 tsp. To be taken 3-4 times daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

MAOI therapy, glaucoma.

Special Precautions

Cardiac disease, DM, prostatic hypertrophy, HTN, renal & hepatic impairment. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Drowsiness, dizziness, headache, nervousness, allergic reactions, dry mouth, skin rashes.

Drug Interactions

TCAs, anticholinergic drugs, CNS depressants including alcohol, β-blockers, other sympathomimetic drugs.
