Cetirizine diHCl
Indications/Uses
Perennial & seasonal allergic rhinitis; chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mg daily. Syr Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mL once daily; 6-12 yr 10 mL once daily or 5 mL 12 hrly; 2-6 yr 5 mL once daily or 2.5 mL 12 hrly. Drops Adult & childn >12 yr 1 mL once daily; 6-12 yr 1 mL once daily or 0.5 mL 12 hrly; 2-6 yr 0.5 mL once daily or 0.25 mL hrly.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Lactation.
Special Precautions
May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy. Childn <2 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, dizziness, drowsiness, agitation, dry mouth & GI discomfort.
