Gemfibrozil
Indications/Uses
Hypercholesterolemia, mixed or other dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia.
Dosage/Direction for Use
2 cap twice daily.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 30 min before meals.
Contraindications
Gallbladder disease, hepatic or severe renal dysfunction including primary biliary cirrhosis.
Special Precautions
Periodic LFT & serum lipids determination should be done.
Adverse Reactions
Abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, flatulence.
Drug Interactions
Potentiate effects of anticoagulants.
