Indications/Uses
Prevention & treatment of post-op, chemo- & radiotherapy-induced (acute & delayed) nausea & vomiting.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Chemotherapy-induced nausea & vomiting 1-3 mg (10-40 mcg/kg) as slow IV inj (over 30 sec) or IV infusion in 20-50 mL infusion fluid (over 5 min) prior to chemotherapy; max: 9 mg/24 hr. Radiotherapy-induced nausea & vomiting 1-3 mg (10-40 mcg/kg) as slow IV inj (over 30 sec) or IV infusion in 20-50 mL infusion fluid (over 5 min) prior to radiotherapy. Post-op nausea & vomiting 1 mg (10 mcg/kg) as slow IV inj (over 30 sec) prior to induction of anesth; max: 3 mg/day IV.
Special Precautions
Lower bowel motility, subacute intestinal obstuction.

Headache, constipation.
