Contents
Paracetamol 500 mg, noscapine 10 mg, glyceryl guaiacolate 50 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg, phenylpropanolamine HCl 15 mg
Indications/Uses
Relief of wet cough & flu symptoms eg, fever, headache, nasal congestion, allergy, muscle pain.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 1 tab. Childn >6 yr ½ tab. Doses to be taken 3 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Cardiac disease, diabetes, liver dysfunction, severe HTN/glaucoma. Women of childbearing age.
Special Precautions
Patients at risk for HTN or stroke (eg, overwt, elderly). Insomnia, palpitation, dizziness. Liver & renal dysfunction, urinary detention. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <6 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Haematologic changes, sleepiness, nausea, vomiting, dizziness to most patients. Liver function damage may occur in high-dose administration.
Drug Interactions
MAOIs, CNS depressants.
