Indications/Uses
Tab: Non-articular rheumatism. Inflammatory & degenerative forms of rheumatism, RA, OA, ankylosing spondylitis, spondylarthrosis. Emulgel: Traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles, joints, soft tissue rheumatism; localized rheumatic diseases.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab Adult 50 mg 2-3 times daily. Childn >1 yr 0.5-3 mg/kg daily in divided doses. Emulgel Apply 3-4 times daily.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals. Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Peptic ulcer; diclofenac-, aspirin- or other NSAID-induced asthma or allergic reactions.
Special Precautions
Severe hepatic or renal damage & GI disturbances. 1st trimester of pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances, dizziness, headache. Emulgel: Local irritation, erythema, pruritus or dermatitis, skin photosensitivity, desquamation, atrophy.
Drug Interactions
Aspirin.
