Pengobatan Dws & anak >12 thn 100 mL IV tiap 8 jam. Anak <12 thn 7.5 mg/kg BB. Pencegahan Dws & anak >12 thn 100 mL scr infus IV . Anak <12 thn 7.5 mL/kg BB IV tiap 8 jam. Infus hrs diberikan scr IV sebagai dosis tunggal dg kecepatan 5 mL/mnt.
Hipersensitivitas thd metronidazol & nitroimidazol lain. Hamil trimester-1.
Diskrasia darah, peny SSP aktif, gagal hati & ginjal.
Ggn GI, sakit kepala, ataksia, neutropenia reversibel, ruam eritromatosa & pruritus, reaksi lokal, urin berwarna gelap.
Alkohol, antikoagulan kumarin atau derivat inandion, simetidin, disulfiram, fenobarb, fenitoin.
J01XD01 - metronidazole ; Belongs to the class of imidazole derivative antibacterials. Used in the systemic treatment of infections.
