Mometasone furoate
Indications/Uses
Relief of inflammatory & pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses ie, psoriasis & atopic dermatitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply thinly to the affected area once daily.
Special Precautions
Discontinue treatment & administer appropriate therapy if irritation or sensitization occur. Do not cover w/ occlusive dressing. Avoid extensive use. Not for ophth use. Pregnancy & lactation. Infant & childn.
Adverse Reactions
Burning sensation, folliculitis, acneiform eruption, pruritus, skin atrophy, itching, irritation, dry skin, hypertrichosis, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration, secondary infection, striae, miliaria.
