Clobetasol propionate
Indications/Uses
Short course treatment for more resistant dermatoses eg, psoriasis, recalcitrant eczemas, lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus & other conditions which do not respond satisfactorily to less active steroids.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply once or twice daily to the affected area until improvement occurs.
Contraindications
Rosacea, acne vulgaris & perioral dermatitis. Primary infected skin lesions. Dermatoses in childn <1 yr.
Special Precautions
Prolonged use. Pregnancy & lactation. Ped patient.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity reactions, hypopigmentation.
