Clidinium Br 2.5 mg, chlordiazepoxide 5 mg
Indications/Uses
Irritable bowel syndrome, acute enterocolitis; adjunctive therapy in the treatment of peptic ulcer.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 1-2 tab 3-4 times daily. Elderly Initially 1 tab 2 times daily.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 30 min-1 hr before meals & at bedtime.
Contraindications
Glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, benign bladder neck obstruction. Pregnancy, lactation.
Special Precautions
Renal or hepatic impairment. Childn. Elderly, debilitated patients.
Adverse Reactions
Dry mouth, blurred vision, urinary hesitancy, constipation, skin eruptions, edema, nausea, extrapyramidal symptoms, change in libido, dizziness, insomnia, fatigue, blood dyscrasias, jaundice.
Drug Interactions
Alcohol, CNS depressants, antidiarrheals, adsorbents, antacids, other anticholinergics, antimyasthenic drugs.
