Cetirizine HCl
Indications/Uses
Perennial rhinitis, seasonal allergic rhinitis & chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr 1 caplet or 10 mL daily. Childn 6-12 yr 1 caplet or 10 mL daily or in 2 divided doses. 2-6 yr 5 mL once daily or in 2 divided dose. Drops Infant 12-23 mth 2.5-5 mg daily. 6-12 mth 2.5 mg daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, dizziness, headache, agitation, dry mouth, GI discomfort, skin reactions, angioedema.
Drug Interactions
Sedatives, alcohol.
