Indications/Uses
Mucolytic & fluidifying agent in acute & chronic airway disorders.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Cap 1 cap 2-3 times daily. Dry syr Adult & childn >30 kg 10 mL twice daily, childn 20-30 kg 5 mL 3 times daily, childn 15-19 kg 5 mL twice daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Hepatic cirrhosis & cystathionine-synthetase enzyme deficiency. Severe kidney failure (CrCl <25 mL/min).
Special Precautions
Pregnancy & lactation. Dry syr: Diabetes or low-calorie diet.
